Needless to say, candy is full of garbage!!! Dried fruit is a GREAT alternative; at least it contains some nutrients! And once you try this recipe, you’ll never buy those (yucky) banana chips at the store again! We love chowing on these while watching movies – you could even sneak your own into the theater to help you resist buying the processed junk they sell there!

The Invisible Apron
These Invisible Aprons are such a clever idea! I have quite a few aprons, but none of them keep my clothes dry! So these are great to wear while doing dishes or even giving the dog a bath!
They’re made of clear vinyl, so you get the added benefit of your apron not clashing with your outfit!! They come in all sorts of styles – even for men and kids! And I can attest that they make great gifts because that’s how I got mine!

Vita Mix Deal in Omaha!!!
Vita Mix will be demonstrated (and for sale) at Costco in Omaha June 10-19th. I purchased my machine through Costco because they had the best price in town, which also meant NO shipping! Costco also has a “no limits” return policy, so I knew I could try out the machine for a while to make sure I liked it. Also, there would be no shipping fees for returning it. As you’ve likely guessed, I never decided to return it! We use it to make healthful smoothies everyday and all sorts of fun desserts, etc. These machines are expensive (just under $400) but well worth the money, especially if you’re looking to incorporate more veggies into your diet!
