Here’s a simple recipe for making your own ketchup from scratch…

INGREDIENTS:
- 2 Tbsp raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar
- 1/4 cup water
- 2 Tbsp honey (preferably raw)
- 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
- ¼ teaspoon cumin
- ¼ teaspoon dry mustard
- 1/8 teaspoon powdered cloves (or a “pinch,” to taste – – better to start low and add more if needed!)
- 1 can tomato paste

DIRECTIONS:
Whisk together vinegar, water and honey.
Add seasonings and mix well.
Whisk in tomato paste and combine well.
Transfer to air-tight jar or container and refrigerate. Keeps about 1 month in the fridge.
