Overwhelmed About New Year’s Resolutions? Here’s a Better Way…

💕 If you’re heading into the new year feeling pressure to fix your life, set big resolutions, or become a “new you,” this video is for you. 🌿

In this video, I share a gentler approach to the new year — one small mindset shift that can help you feel happier, more grounded, and more at ease without overhauling your life. 😊

No rigid rules. No extreme habits. Just a simple way to move forward that actually feels sustainable.

Let’s talk about:

  • Why traditional New Year’s resolutions often leave us feeling stressed or behind
  • How small shifts can create real happiness and momentum
  • What it looks like to choose a softer, kinder direction in life
  • How to increase your joy without changing everything

This video is especially for you if:

  • You feel tired of “self-improvement culture”
  • You want personal growth without pressure
  • You’re craving calm, clarity, and a lighter way forward
  • You want the new year to feel supportive instead of demanding

💕You don’t need a brand-new life. You don’t need to have everything figured out. Sometimes, one small thing really is enough. 😊

✨ So, take what resonates here. Leave the rest. And move into this year with more ease. ✅

Are YOU actually enjoying life?

Heeeeey, everyone! 🤗

✅ Just a quick follow-up on that last video where I challenged you to “do things that bring you joy”…

I want to share with you one of my very favorite simple “hacks” that I personally use so that I always know for SURE that I’m doing fun things in my life…and not just “going thru the motions.” 💕💕💕

(Seriously…this little habit is soooooooooo “stupidly simple,” that you’ll be shocked at how well it works!) 🤫😮

Happiness Homework: What They Forgot to Teach Us in School

What if happiness wasn’t something you waited for… but something you practiced? 😮📚✅

In this video, I introduce Happiness Homework — a simple, realistic way to feel better without toxic positivity, pressure, or pretending everything is fine. 🙃

These are small, doable “assignments” designed to help you build happiness as a skill, not a personality trait.

We were taught math. ✅

We were taught history. ☑️

But no one taught us how to be happy. 🤗

So this video gives you:

• Simple happiness habits you can actually stick to

• A low-effort system for mental health and emotional well-being

• Practical self-care ideas that don’t feel overwhelming

• A realistic approach to personal growth, motivation, and joy

If you’re tired of hustle culture, burnt out on “just be positive,” or looking for mental health tips that actually work, this is for you. 🎒

Tonight’s happiness homework: try just ONE assignment, and let me know which one you chose!

Careful where you search for happiness!

Oh my gosh!!!!

Soooo crazy that I would happen upon this video today!

I recorded it five years ago, but I just realized today that I’ve fallen back into this very same trap again! Ahhhhhhhhh!!!!!! (Maybe it’s a “winter” thing! LOL!)

Do you ever fall into this trap!? How do you handle it? I’d love to hear any tips you’ve got!

(And, again, please ignore the captions in this video…because the “Dreamers in Motion” website no longer exists.)
