Wow! We’ve had a super busy few months over here!!
It’s been an incredibly exciting time shopping for, purchasing and settling into our new RV…
but….it’s been a waaaaay too busy time, too!!! OMG!!!
A few weeks ago, I realized that I was drowning in “to-do” lists! Yikes!!!
And, honestly, I was starting to feel a bit lost and confused because I wasn’t feeling like myself. My life had quickly become ruled by tasks that really didn’t contribute directly to my happiness.
So, I decided to make the ultimate high priority “to-do list” for myself to get my soul back into focus.
Instead of tasks that I need to get done, I made a list of things that bring me joy. Yes, my own little “Joy List.”
I decided to make it a monthly thing, and the list will likely change from month to month, but I’m happy to report that this list has really, really worked for me!
To be clear, it’s not intended as a true “must do” list in the sense that I need to check everything off in any regimented fashion. I doubt I’ll ever have check marks next to every item, actually.
It’s just a way for me to keep honest track of how well I’m “feeding my soul” on a regular basis. And it’s nice to have a handy little list of ideas for doing so.
This month, I particularly enjoyed the idea of “trying something new.” And as you can see….I tried 3 new things, in fact! LOL!
